Paul, I have a various OS platforms being monitored by PCMonitor. So far, this is the only one that I get OS not supported. Like above, it is a Windows 2008 server (x86) running SP2.

c:\>ver

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6002]

Let me know if you need anything else to troubleshoot.

Hello,

I plan on updating most of my published plugins soon. The version itself was all I needed to understand the problem. Thanks.

thank you Paul for your effort, but sorry, it does still not work. I check it on 2 2K8R2-Standard Server and on my NB with Windows 7 64Bit. No sessions or opened files be listed.

On the 2003 Server (32 Bit) no Problem.

Hi,

Nice idea with the plugin. I'm getting the "OS not supported" message too though. I'm running Server 2012 R2 (Version 6.3.9600).

Hi @Nuno Inacio,

I'll check it out and get back to you.

Edit: Can you send me the output of these powershell commands?

(gwmi -query 'SELECT ProductType FROM Win32_OperatingSystem').ProductType
[environment]::OSVersion.Version.Major

Thanks!

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your fast reply!

I can confirm you that's an issue with all 2016

Here you are:

PS >(gwmi -query 'SELECT ProductType FROM Win32_OperatingSystem').ProductType
3
PS > [environment]::OSVersion.Version.Major
10

That's weird. Can you tell me what's the file version of the PaulCsiki.SessionControl.dll? I've just tested the plugin on a 2016 datacenter edition and it seems to be working. This was a problem fixed in the plugin version 1.3.

You were completely right, it was version 1.2 (I've mixed them as the old one is still available and it was the 1st one I downloaded).

I've stoped the service, I've replaced and restarted but now its completely empty for sessions and opened files and I have a word working there...

This plugin shows active share sessions not user sessions. Try opening a shared drive and see if that shows anything.
