penncomputers Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Paul, I have a various OS platforms being monitored by PCMonitor. So far, this is the only one that I get OS not supported. Like above, it is a Windows 2008 server (x86) running SP2. c:\>ver Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6002] Let me know if you need anything else to troubleshoot.
Administrators Paul Posted April 28, 2013 Author Administrators Posted April 28, 2013 Hello, I plan on updating most of my published plugins soon. The version itself was all I needed to understand the problem. Thanks.
JHimmelbauer Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Hi Paul, the plugin working perfect on a Windows 2003 Server, but not on one of my 2008R Servers (with all MS patches) - any idea? Paul 1

digbyp Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 For me, I can confirm running in Windows SBS 2011 + Windows 8 Std. Not got a R2 version to test on right now

Nuno Inácio Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Hi Paul, Great work with this plugin but it isn't working with 2016: Is there any possibility to update it, please?
Administrators Paul Posted October 23, 2019 Author Administrators Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Hi @Nuno Inacio, I'll check it out and get back to you. Edit: Can you send me the output of these powershell commands? (gwmi -query 'SELECT ProductType FROM Win32_OperatingSystem').ProductType [environment]::OSVersion.Version.Major Thanks! -Paul Edited October 23, 2019 by Paul
Nuno Inácio Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Hi Paul, Thank you for your fast reply! I can confirm you that's an issue with all 2016 Here you are: PS >(gwmi -query 'SELECT ProductType FROM Win32_OperatingSystem').ProductType 3 PS > [environment]::OSVersion.Version.Major 10
Administrators Paul Posted October 25, 2019 Author Administrators Posted October 25, 2019 That's weird. Can you tell me what's the file version of the PaulCsiki.SessionControl.dll? I've just tested the plugin on a 2016 datacenter edition and it seems to be working. This was a problem fixed in the plugin version 1.3. -Paul
Nuno Inácio Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 (edited) You were completely right, it was version 1.2 (I've mixed them as the old one is still available and it was the 1st one I downloaded). I've stoped the service, I've replaced and restarted but now its completely empty for sessions and opened files and I have a word working there... Edited October 25, 2019 by Nuno Inacio
Administrators Paul Posted October 25, 2019 Author Administrators Posted October 25, 2019 This plugin shows active share sessions not user sessions. Try opening a shared drive and see if that shows anything. -Paul
Nuno Inácio Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 I've misunderstood : Thanks again for the quick help!
