Matt Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 The other day, I noticed the Outlook Sync tool under the Downloads menu and thought it would be great to be able to sync the calendar with Outlook. However, when I tried to install it, I received an error that it "cannot be installed due to a general Installer error 0x8007007E". I am running Outlook 2016 on a Windows 10 Pro system. I was basically wondering if anyone else has been able to use this tool successfully? Thanks for your assistance!
Staff Chris Posted September 22, 2017 Staff Posted September 22, 2017 Hi Matt, Could you send us the full log information, so we can understand why the installation failed. Also please check if the ClickOnce for Outlook is installed on your machine.
