Did you had the computer on a different account before? This could be the cause of the problem. Simply use the PC Monitor Manager app to remove the offline computer.
-
Check out the downloads page:Â http://pulseway.com/downloads
Â
The link to the Mac install is http://pulseway.com/download/PCMonitor.dmg and it works.

Check the "Devices" tab in PC Monitor Manager - looks like your device is not authorised to issue commands.Â
-
Thanks for the update.
-
Hi,
Â
Do you see the commands in the computer details page?
-
Please email us your username and the error message, we will check this for you.

We managed to reproduce this issue and we're working on a fix.
-
We're adding repeating notifications support for event log filters in the next release (3.4.1) - it will be available for subscribers and enterprise users.
As well, we're adding support for Applications and Services event log sources in the event log filter.

Is PC Monitor the only Win 8 app that has this issue?Â
Do you see the splash screen when the app starts?
-
Looks like PC Monitor is not the only app suffering from this issue:

3.4 win agent has been release and it includes this notification.
-
Tony,
Â
PC Monitor does NOT access any of your files.Â
Even the feature for sending a file by email is done in such a way that it is using your email account instead of going through our servers.
Â
You can also disable File Browsing if you want in PC Monitor Manager. For more info see our user manual:Â http://pulseway.com/manual
Â
Hope this helps.

It will be added in the next release.

Hi Bram,
Â
This feature is not currently supported by the Windows agent - we plan to add it in a future release.
Â
Best Regards,
Marius

We have released an update (3.3.1) in Google Play that fixes this issue.
-
For now, yes.
Â
The change has been implemented and will be included in the next release.
-
We've replied to this on the other post.
-
This is no longer the case - the last API update removes this restriction.Â
CanSendNotifications property is still valid for cases when the agent itself won't be able to send notifications from other reasons and you should still check that.
Â
We will add in the next release a way of setting that notification so that it's not allowing duplicates like:
public bool SendNotificationToAllDevices(string message, NotificationPriority priority, bool allowMultipleNotifications = false)
Â
Â
However, CanSendNotifications will still return true unless the agent itself is not allowed to send any notifications.
-
We cannot reproduce this whatsoever. I suggest uninstalling the app and then install it again from Windows Store.
-
There are no restrictions other than the 50 notifications / day limit.

We will address this in the next agent release
