  1. Unfortunately this is NOT a PC Monitor problem but a Microsoft .NET Framework issue and it only affects certain systems that are upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2012 R2.

We are still looking for a solution here and we are in contact with Microsoft on this. As soon as we have more info we will let you know.

  2. You will get the access denied message if you set the device authentication in PC Monitor Manager and the app instance you are using is not on the list of devices authorised.

As for "No Screens Found" - this happens only if the PC Monitor agent has been updated, if you were to open PC Monitor Manager or re-login the screen(s) will appear.

    Hope this helps.

  3. This is not an issue with our PC Monitor service but a .NET Framework issue that occurs on a very limited number of cases.

Unfortunately we don't know when it will be fixed or what the fix is just yet. By enabling the diagnostic logging we determined that the OS does not initiate a service start at all.

Could you please set the PC Monitor service to start Automatically with a Delayed Start and let us know if it makes a difference? Thanks.

  4. Hi Charlie,

You should be able to generate the reports on Windows 8 app as well.

Can you provide us with the steps you are taking so we can better understand the issue?

    Thank you.
