Becks7 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 https://ws15.mobilep....com/server.svc - Login crashed. Whats wrong?
Marius Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Nothing wrong on our servers. We will need more info to be able to advise you on this one like what operation are you trying to perform, from where and so on. If you could explain the "login crashed" it would be useful too. In most cases you need to set up the proxy or it's a firewall issue.
Becks7 Posted October 18, 2011 Author Posted October 18, 2011 it's the second machine with pc monitor. the first - windows 2008 r2 - works fine. the prob-machine windows 7 x86. firewall is out. on validating account or changing account details, manage registered computers, i become a error message: "there was no endpoint listening at https://ws15.mobilecomputer.com/server.svc that could accept the message. this is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. see innerexeption, if present, for more details."
Marius Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 The connection from that computer is being blocked. Please email us at support@pulseway.com and we will enable debug for that computer to get a better understanding of the issue.
Angelo Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 "there was no endpoint listening at https://ws15.mobilec....com/server.svc that could accept the message. this is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. see innerexeption, if present, for more details." Software installed on a server containing Active Directory, and I'm getting the same message as above..what's happening?
Marius Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Something is blocking the connection. You might have to set up the proxy settings.
Administrators Paul Posted October 25, 2011 Administrators Posted October 25, 2011 Try connecting with telnet to the server like this: telnet ws15.pulseway.com 443 if you get an error then your machine cannot contact the remote server, if you get a blank screen with some blinking cursor it means that the connection between your machine with the remote server was successful and you can use PC Monitor with no problems. You can always try with a ping but the telnet gives the best response: ping ws15.pulseway.com If your connection problem persists try contacting your network administrator.
Angelo Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Which ports/protocol needs to be open on the firewall for pc monitor to work?
Administrators Paul Posted October 25, 2011 Administrators Posted October 25, 2011 Post link Basically you need to allow outgoing connections on HTTPS port (443). No port forwarding or incoming rules are required.
pschmitzer Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I just ran into this problem after changing routers - I cannot find where in Cisco E3200 settings enable outgoing HTTPS ports. It sure seems like a firewall configuration issue as everything was working fine before changing from old router to new router
Administrators Paul Posted April 12, 2012 Administrators Posted April 12, 2012 This would mean that you cannot access any secure website because of some firewall rule blocking your navigation, this is very odd to see defaulted inside a router configuration. Does your router support outbound firewall rules? If so create a rule to allow zone navigation from LAN -> WAN through HTTPS(443). If it doesn't support outbound firewall rules try to see if nothing else is blocking the connection, new windows firewall policy, or some weird application that blocks your access. So the steps would be: Check if the router has a firewall that blocks you.Check if the computer has a firewall or a program that's preventing your navigation, (Try navigating to a secure website from your phone, see what happens)Try switching the router back, does it solve your problem? Good Luck, Paul.
