Posted January 5, 201213 yr I am getting this error on the latest release (2.8). I have tried restarting and reinstalls with no success. I have been using PC Monitor for almost a ~year and this has only started recently.
January 5, 201213 yr Try enabling the diagnostic logging in Settings -> Diagnostics and start the service again. A trace.log file will be written in the installation folder, please email it to us.
January 5, 201213 yr Author just tried that and it does not generate the .log file. im using win 7 64 bit.
January 5, 201213 yr Uninstall the app, delete the installation folder (if still there) and remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\PC Monitor. Restart and try to install the app again.
January 5, 201213 yr Administrators Also, is there any errors in the windows event log? Services that fail to start usually leave some marks in the system log.

January 10, 201213 yr have you cleared the install folder and reinstalled the app? A library is missing for some reason, a reinstall will fix this.
January 11, 201213 yr ok i reinstall the app and for now everything is ok. i mess something with plugins, maybe that was the problem, i see new version 2.8.1. change log
January 11, 201213 yr Administrators If you have a malfunctioning plugin PC Monitor will only stop loading it and release it from the memory, so any bad plugins cannot stop the functionality of the core application.
January 12, 201213 yr hehe ok paul thanks for explanation, anyway i reinstall app on my pc and everything is ok.
