Error starting PC Monitor service.

I am getting this error on the latest release (2.8). I have tried restarting and reinstalls with no success. I have been using PC Monitor for almost a ~year and this has only started recently.

Try enabling the diagnostic logging in Settings -> Diagnostics and start the service again. A trace.log file will be written in the installation folder, please email it to us.

Uninstall the app, delete the installation folder (if still there) and remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\PC Monitor. Restart and try to install the app again.

Also, is there any errors in the windows event log? Services that fail to start usually leave some marks in the system log.

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.

Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.

To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

have you cleared the install folder and reinstalled the app? A library is missing for some reason, a reinstall will fix this.

If you have a malfunctioning plugin PC Monitor will only stop loading it and release it from the memory, so any bad plugins cannot stop the functionality of the core application.
