jbconsult Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Having trouble finding where to do an exclusion in KAV for Windows. KAV quarantined some files that are required for some X-Ray software on a client. Need to make sure these files are not treated as a virus.
Staff Chris Posted July 14, 2017 Staff Posted July 14, 2017 Hi, You can configure the Scan exclusions and trusted applications from the Pulseway WebApp -> Antivirus -> Policies -> select required policy -> Antivirus Protection -> General -> Scan Exclusions and add the folder here. Also, you can configure this application as a 'Trusted Application' to exclude it from the scan.
jbconsult Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 Thanks, I just missed that area to configure.
David Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 In the Web-App, can I use wild-card characters to create a trusted application or do I have to specify the full path for each binary? Not being lazy, it's just that the client uses accounting software (MYOB) that installs binaries all over the place and I want to be sure I'm excluding the whole application. Regards,
Staff Chris Posted October 27, 2017 Staff Posted October 27, 2017 Hi David, If you have configured the path like this, then currently you exclude all applications/files/folders which names contain this combination of letters MYOB. Read more about Path Masks for Kaspersky from here.
