Hi,

After reboot, PC Monitor says the service is not installed on my SBS2011 Server, and I'm unable to uninstalln repair nor re-install the software...

I tried to register with regsrvr32 but I get the following message:

Module "C:Program Files(x86)PC MonitorPCMonitorSrv.exe" has leen loaded, but entrypoint "DllRegisterServer" is not found.

Verify that "C:Program Files(x86)PC MonitorPCMonitorSrv.exe" is a valid DLL or OCX file

Remove the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\PC Monitor key, delete the installation folder and restart. After restart reinstall the app.

after deleting the key the setup was unable to remove so I repaired and it worked

It has not been working for 8 years, lol.

I'm having the same issue - in this case the reg key isn't there, and I still can't uninstall/repair/re-install.

 

Please advise ASAP.

Try running the following command as an administrator:

sc delete "PC Monitor"
