sparkynerd Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Is there a way to get any sort notification if the server running PC Monitor loses its Internet connection? Obviously this would need to be generated outside of the server I am monitoring.
Marius Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 You will need to enable the offline notification for that system and then enable the email notifications for your account (by default only the push notifications are enabled).
DrYou Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Old thread. But how do I enable a notification when the server comes back online?
Calin Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Hello, Â You can get a notification when the server starts or stops, when it goes offline. There is no way to get a notification when it comes online, as we would expect you would be monitoring closely the situation.
Administrators Paul Posted July 1, 2014 Administrators Posted July 1, 2014 However this is a fair feature request. I can find a couple of scenarios when this could be useful. +1 for this.
JoeS Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 +1 also for notification of a server coming back online, we have instances where ISP drops out briefly, sometimes overnight and multiple times and this would alert us to this. Also the red flag showing server offline isn't correct if server online - I do appreciate that it's expected we will be monitoring the server in a scenario like this but good to know server is actually up.
Anubis Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Is there a current ETA for this feature? We are looking to replace our current Kaseya environment with Pulseway, and this is one feature that we must have.
Marius Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 we plan to add a notification when the server is back online soon.
Marius Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Update: This feature is now being rolled our to our SaaS servers. The Enterprise server update will be available next week. Paul 1
