Hejxml Posted March 16, 2022 Posted March 16, 2022 Hello, I have a SNMP-xml configuration file, and I just want to edit the IP-address in the config, but I can’t import the file after editing it. Or is there another way to reuse the config file?
Administrators Paul Posted March 16, 2022 Administrators Posted March 16, 2022 Hi there, Can you PM me the original XML and then the changed one? It should work. -Paul

Because when I import the modified one I get "1 skipped". Do I need to configure something beforehand so it can import properly? Edited March 16, 2022 by Hejxml
Administrators Paul Posted March 16, 2022 Administrators Posted March 16, 2022 Oh, I see what is the problem now. It is skipped because it contains the same identifier as the previous host. Try changing the identifier field slightly and see that it will import now. Use only hexadecimal characters (0-9a-f). Let me know how it goes. -Paul

Quick followup question: Any way to copy the notification settings associated with a host in the same manner? Edited March 16, 2022 by Hejxml Jamie Taylor 1

Expand Well yes, you can just export the configuration settings of an agent, just look for the "Export Settings" textual link at the bottom of the Pulseway Manager app. -Paul
