i'm trying to setup network SNMP monitoring of esxi host hardware health

i think i found the right .mib file and setup the right SNMP but when i pull at harddrive everything is still ok

any tips on setting this up ?

Got i little bit further now, thanks for that

But if i want to monitor harddrives and sensors in a ESXi server, i looks like at have to create a variable for every drive,psu etc

Please tell me im wrong :)

Hi Curtsen, 

You would have to create variable for every devices, if you want to monitor specific drives of a server you have to register the drive as a variable, but however you can also monitor the Volumes by monitoring the RAID.

Please refer to this article on how to configure RAID monitoring through SNMP.
