yesterdayshero Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 How do you uninstall PC Monitor from a Mac? I have removed the application, but the monitor still seems to run on the computer. What files need to be removed so PC Monitor is completely uninstalled/removed from the computer?
Staff Mark Posted April 6, 2012 Staff Posted April 6, 2012 To uninstall it use the following steps: 1. Uncheck "Show at login". 2. Delete PCMonitor from /Applications 3. As superuser (sudo su -) : launchctl remove com.mobilepcmonitor.PCMonitorHelper rm -rf /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.mobilepcmonitor.PCMonitorHelper.plist rm -rf /Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.mobilepcmonitor.PCMonitorHelper rm -rf /var/root/Library/Application\ Support/PCMonitor/ The final 1.0 version will have an uninstaller.
