Jeremy Otten Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 We can set almost anything with Policies except de services check. Now we have to goto any mass deployed agent and BY hand select running or automatic services. It would be really nice to put this in a policy like: check all automatic or running services. Next to that it would be nice to filter services (after deployment) in de Webui zo that you do not have to goto each Pulseway install manually. Â
Staff Chris Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Posted February 4, 2019 Hi @Jeremy Otten, Unfortunately not all your systems has the same list of running services, therefore that is the reason why this option is not available from the group policy. In order to add one service to the monitoring you may use the PowerShell script which will check if the service exists and then add it to the list of monitored services. In order to do this you will need to configure the service monitoring on one of your monitored systems and then use the PowerShell to recreate the following keys (relevant entries under these keys). HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\ServicesExcludedFromNotifications   Â
Jeremy Otten Posted February 4, 2019 Author Posted February 4, 2019 That is why i asked to add the manual option of selecting all running or all automatic services. That should be doable in a policy right.
Staff Chris Posted February 4, 2019 Staff Posted February 4, 2019 @Jeremy Otten, I will put this forward as the feature request.Â
