New to Pulseway so our system is fresh, we noticed our default agent group was called 'Legacy'

Do we need to upgrade this somehow / does it have any significance or can we simply rename it / carry on.

We are on Version 6.0.0 build 929 release 254

Hi,

Is it possible that you have installed theĀ MAC and Linux agent? If yes, thenĀ currently these agents are not upgraded to the version 6.0, therefore all new MAC and Linux systems, which you are registering with your account, therefore we are placing all these systemsĀ under the Default Organisation -> Default Site -> Legacy group. We are planning to update the Linux and MAC agents to the version 6.0 by the end of the October. Also, the new Linux agent will support libssl version 1.1.Ā

Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this.

Chris,

I have twelve Windows 10 machines on my account. Still have "Legacy" group. Can't delete it. Never had any non-Win machines. So your explanation does not work...

Hi @VirtualPanther,

At the momentĀ all Linux, MAC and Windows Pulseway agents support the Pulseway version 6.0, there fore you can move these systems to any group. The legacy group is kept for the systems which doesn't support token based authentication (the systems which are registered using the REST API or Cloud API). Correctly, we do not allow to deleteĀ this group even if you do not have any system in it.

Also, if there are no systems registered in this group, then you will not see it into the Systems view.
