i was following the setup for the new HTML5 web interface, and the part of the instructions say to edit the c:\hosting\app\web.config file, but it doesn't exist on my installation.  Looks like i'm running Version 4.8.0 build 904

You will need to upgrade to at leaset 191.

As GTDFW kindly pointed out, your server needs to be updated to version 191 (or newer) to receive the new HTML5 web application. If your server is updated, has the C:\Hosting\App folder and the web.config file is missing please send an email to support [at] pulseway [dot] com and we will send you the missing file.

Thank you for your input, however the problem in this case was that of a missing file and not due to a missing configuration entry in IIS.
