  1. Hi,

Welcome to the Pulseway community. Please run the following command in an administrative command prompt:

    sc delete "PC Monitor"

Then try again to install Pulseway on your system.

    Regards,

    Chris

  2. Thank you for your update. What happens when your restart the 'termservice' windows service from services.msc, does it hang or correctly responds to the stop command?

  3. Hi,

Yes, that would definitely work. You will be able to see all hosts and VMs that are in the same server pool. However please note that the agent can only connect to one xenserver instance and if that instance is unavailable then you will not be able to monitor other hosts in the pool or VMs even if they are offline.

    Chris

  4. Hi,

Welcome to the Pulseway community. Do you enforce by any chance the operating system to use only FIPS compliant encryption algorithms? If so, you will need to disable that policy in order to use Pulseway.

  5. Hi,

The Xen Server server module is feature of the Windows Agent that allows you to monitor and manage Xen Server from another windows agent in the network. Does that make sense?

  6. Hi,

On a regular basis we monitor the RDP, IIS and a web deployment service on the production servers. In regards to processes, we only check to see how much memory IIS worker processes consume. We have a couple of event log filters that monitor failed logins (rdp and console), disk errors, UPS power warnings and some proprietary events written by some scripts we've developed over time. On the performance counters, we monitor the network usage (and notify if it's too low or too high), SQL transactions per second and disk I/O size.

    Regards,

    Chris

  7. Hi,

Welcome to the Pulseway community. Pulseway doesn't support CentOS 5.x. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

  8. Hi,

We rarely provide ETAs due to our dedication to the product quality. We only release top-notch software which will not put the user's security at risk nor have any functionality or user interface defects. As I previously said, we are working on the web interface as we speak and we expect a public beta of the product this year however the inventory report may come after the HTML5 web application is released.

    Regards,

    Chris
