We have 3 servers (2 dedicated and 1 VM) that are monitored by PC Monitor. When I click the 'Enter maintenance mode' context menu in the Dashboard the application says 'The command was sent successfuly and will be reflected soon in dashboard' but this never happens.

We've tested this and it works as expected. 

Could you try a refresh (F5) in Dashboard 5-10 seconds after the command is being sent? Please email our support for further investigation.

Sorry for the late response.

 

In the event viewer we see that the request was denied:

 

A request was received from a non authorized device and it was denied: Request Enter maintenance mode from device Id: 'Dashboard'

 

How do I authorize this?

This issue occurs when you have authorised only certain devices to perform actions on that computer in PC Monitor Settings -> Devices tab. 

We will address this issue in the next release.

So in other words this is a known problem and that at the moment this will not work?

In other words, this is indeed an issue when you specifically limit the devices authorised to send commands in PC Monitor Manager.

 

The issue has been resolved and the fix will be included in the next release.
