Hey and well ive read about quite alot and I am still clueless on how to set all this up

The plan was to monitor my debian server from my main pc and in time my phone (but main pc to start)

How do I even start all this?

Ive installed it on my server (I think)

But now. I can find no readme's or tuts anywhere. is there a read me for a noob like meanywhere to understand this abit better?

Hello Mike,

A quick tutorial on how to get everything started is posted here by Marius. Basically there are four main steps:

• Download ( a wget will suffice )
  
• Install ( a simple ./install should do the trick, make sure you have the latest jdk )
  
• Configure ( vim vi or your favorite editor the configuration file which is located in /install/path/conf/config.xml )
  
• Run ( /install/path/bin/pcmonitor start )
