spoto2112 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Hello. I've been using pcmonitor for over a year now and it's working great. I do have 1 situation with it running on a Windows 2008 R2 server running in terminal services mode. There is a copy of the pcmontask.exe process running for every user logged onto the terminal server. I found the startup key in the registry at: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and have removed the key several times, only to find it's there the next time I check. I configured pcmonitor on this server to NOT update the client automatically but that's had no effect. I suppose it's not that big of a deal but right now there are 15, 12MB processes running. sometimes there are more, depending on how many users are logged on.I'm just trying to keep the server running tidy. Is there anyway to disable the pcmontask from running for all logged on users? Thanx, Sam Poto
Marius Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 You can disable it in the PC Monitor Manager app -> Settings -> Runtime.
