We are building some new systems for one of our customers with an existing ~700+ devices on Pulseway. Having some issues with Pulseway not working correctly.

We cannot uninstall Pulseway nor can we re-install it, we have manually removed it from registry (Pulseway and MMSoft) which allows us to bypass the error to re-install it but it does not install properly, ergo the Pulseway control panel is not available nor is the PCMonitor service installed.

We have tried registry cleaners following the above and still the issue persists.

That sounds really frustrating, especially with so many devices running Pulseway. If you can’t uninstall or reinstall it properly, it usually means some leftover files or services are blocking the setup.

You can try:

  • Using Pulseway’s official cleanup tool (works better than just deleting registry keys).

  • Checking if the “PC Monitor” service is still listed in Services and removing it manually.

  • Running the installer as Administrator or in Safe Mode.

  • Creating install logs to see what step is failing.

If none of these work, I’d recommend sending the logs to Pulseway support, they can usually fix this quickly for you.
