Logo Specialist Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Hi There, I have installed PC Monitor in three systems and they all are working fine but i can't monitor their desktop view ? How can i enable this feature ? Thanks Imran Sheikh
Administrators Paul Posted March 5, 2012 Administrators Posted March 5, 2012 You can do this from the Systems tab, and check "Enable Screens View". You can perform these changes to your computers without having to manually edit them on each computer with PC Monitor Dashboard. Cheers!
Marius Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Worth mentioning that this feature is available to subscribers only. To check the status of your subscription start the PC Monitor application installed on the PC and press the "Subscription Details" button.
Logo Specialist Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Hi There, Thank you very much for your favorable reply. I'd like to ask one more thing. One of my employee PC was formatted and we have installed PC Monitor again but this time the PC is not detected after re-installation. The PC name is their on server but i cant able to monitor, i have reset all setting after reinstallation but when i tried to validate account then error message appearing. I am trying to attached image url but its not accepting i am pasting error message below. "Valid Error: There was no endpoint listening at https://ws8.pulseway.com/Server.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action, See InnerException, if present, for more details." Kindly do let me know what is the problem it is ? Cheers, Imran
Administrators Paul Posted March 9, 2012 Administrators Posted March 9, 2012 Hello, The error is pretty straight forward, it's trying to connect to Mobile PC Monitor's server and for some reason it fails. From the problematic PC open a browser and try to navigate to this url. If you get any error then it means that the SSL trust is broken and you need to fix your system time and check the problems with the SSL trust or if you can't connect to that webpage then it's a network problem. If you get a webpage that says: Service This is a Windows© Communication Foundation service. Metadata publishing for this service is currently disabled. Then it's a positive result and everything should work. Cheers, Paul.
Marius Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Looks like the connection is blocked. Do you need to set up a proxy?
modem1234 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just on the OP topic, when i click screens it only comes up with COMPUTERNAM\USER (active) but its only the main screen, why does the 2nd screen not show? Ta. Scott
Administrators Paul Posted January 22, 2014 Administrators Posted January 22, 2014 At this moment PC Monitor only supports viewing the main screen. It was already announced to be on the roadmap here: http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/995-req-screens-all-monitors-pcm-service/#entry4089 Paul.
modem1234 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Thanks Paul, That's Awesome news! Do you know of an ETA? i couldn't imagine it would be hard to code if you already have one screen working... S.
