mulke904 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I've noticed my external USB hard drive won't spin down (go idle) as long as the PC Monitor service is running. I've confirmed this by stopping the service and see the drive spin down after a short time. After restarting the service, the drive spins up and remains active. Can this be changed?
