SteveS1949 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 So I am running Ubuntu Linux 14.04 x64 on a dedicated headless server. Â Sometimes everything works fine (80% of reboots and some service restarts). However, right now (and many other times) if I run 'service pulseway start' I get this appear in the logs: Mar 22 17:51:42 ns504820 pulseway: Configuration read successfully! Mar 22 17:51:43 ns504820 console-kit-daemon[1976]: GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 73490 was not found when attempting to remove it Mar 22 17:51:43 ns504820 console-kit-daemon[1976]: GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 73499 was not found when attempting to remove it Mar 22 17:51:43 ns504820 pulseway: Got exception signal: 11 Â What could this be? Â (Note this is seen in /var/log/syslog as /var/log/messages has been removed in Ubuntu 12+) Â Steve Â
SteveS1949 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 Hi, I see this 90% of the time when running 'service pulseway start' (but it does work the other 10% - usually after a restart, but sometimes restarts fine).  In /var/log/syslog  Mar 22 17:58:02 ns504820 pulseway: Configuration read successfully! Mar 22 17:58:03 ns504820 console-kit-daemon[1976]: GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 73508 was not found when attempting to remove it Mar 22 17:58:03 ns504820 console-kit-daemon[1976]: GLib-CRITICAL: Source ID 73517 was not found when attempting to remove it Mar 22 17:58:03 ns504820 pulseway: Got exception signal: 11 Mar 22 17:58:03 ns504820 kernel: [114142.824817] traps: pulsewayd[17619] general protection ip:7f3d8e80722d sp:7f3d86ffca40 error:0 in libstdc++.so.6.0.19[7f3d8e74c000+e6000] I need to restart it as it often crashes after about 6 hours or so of running  Steve
blueprint Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Was there a resolution to this? We have started having pulseway crash with similar log messages. I can start it and it will run for several minutes and then crash with the following: Â Jun 23 09:49:49 cloudlin pulseway: Got exception signal: 11 Jun 23 09:49:49 cloudlin kernel: pulsewayd[28360] general protection ip:3654e9d825 sp:7f0deef7d940 error:0 in libstdc++.so.6.0.13[3654e00000+e8000]
