Hi!

 

I'am wondering why i have to configure monitoring of a ESX host via a Windows machine,

Seems not lika a good solution because if the Windows machine goes down PC monitor cannot monitor the ESX host and also im stuck with just that machine monitors my hosts.

 

Is there another way to solve this?

 

Yes, add more windows machines. Aside from this alternative there is no other way...
