  1. Can I set it up so that it notify me when print queue is > 1 for any length of time? Basically, I want to be notified if my printer is being used and not necessarily limited to duration of # of print jobs. Thanks in advance!
  2. I restarted my computer and got it to work w/o a problem following your direction. Thanks!
  3. No because I didn't want to lose my settings . Do I have to un install to upgrade?
  4. How should one upgrade to 3.7 in WinXP? I tried sending an upgrade command from my Android app and nothing happened. I also tried downloading the latest Windows Agent from the website and the install process would close on its own after executing. Afterwards, it still shows 3.6. What gives? Thanks in advance.
  5. I found an interesting use w/ the Ping notification (with help of another in the forum) feature of PC Monitor. I am currently using it to monitor the "ON/OFF" status of my WDTVs, net connected TVs and android phones in my wifi network. I basically setup my wifi router to assign monitored devices with specific IP based on individual MAC address. It is easier to deal w/ IPs than the resolved network name since not all devices can resolve to a name on the network. After that, you can setup these IPs in the Ping notification entries in PC Monitor and assign them appropriate alias such as "Living Room TV" etc. You will then get notification when these devices go online and offline. WIth the same approach, you can setup your kid's phone / laptop the same way and monitor them via pinging. Most kids these days are tied to their phones so their phone's ON/OFF ping status would tell you whether they are home or not. Just thought I would share. http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/705-notify-when-a-new-device-is-connected-to-the-wifi-network/
  6. Thank you very much. This is precisely what I was looking for. One thing that I notice is that since I setup the duration to 1 minute, it will send me an "offline notification" every minute if I keep deleting the offline notification as they appear on my phone. As long as I don't delete the first offline notification, subsequent offline notifications won't keep coming in. This really doesn't bother me since I want to keep track of when it went offline initially anyway. Just thought I would share.
  7. Thank you for sharing your experience. It helps me out!
  8. I would like to be notified when a network device logs onto my wifi network. I can assign these devices static IPs based on MAC addresses. I know I can check to see if they are off of my network by pinging their IPs. However what I try to detect is the opposite. Any clue? These devices are my WDTV media players, android phones, and my TVs.
