  1. I treat A/V and RMM as tools. I don't make much if any money on the product. I don't lose any either. I make sure I cover my costs including merchant fees. It's when the red flashing light goes on that it becomes profitable.

  2. For some time after I signed up the PSA had an option to Populate Demo Data. I used it a few times and removing the demo data was nice because it brought you back to an almost clean slate. That option is now gone from my dashboard. Is there a way to do a reset?

  3. Will activating a device in Patch Management override the default behavior on the target machine?

IE, if the client is set to receive all updates automatically and the policy is set to only check once a week will it stop the updates defined in the client without manual intervention? I assume that's the purpose but just want to be clear.

What if updates are configured by GPO? Will it still override?

    Thanks

  4. It would be nice to be able to assign endpoints to multiple groups. This would be especially useful for Group Policy.

    - Default Group (rules for all managed endpoints)

    - - WorkStation Group (endpoint is assigned to default group and then this group to add workstation rules but not server rules)

    - - Server Group (endpoint is assigned to default group and then this group to add server rules but not workstation rules)

    - - - SQL Server Group (endpoint is assigned to default and Server group and then this group to add SQL Server only rules)

    - - - Domain Controller Group (endpoint is assigned to default and Server group and then this group to add DC only rules but not SQL Server rules)

I guess this could also be done with roles and tags if the Group Policy would accept them as input as well.
