  1. I don't want to go to the time/cost for programming or buying a seperate component yet. I was wondering if we could measure something within the computer using PC monitor, i know it wont be totally accurate but it might give us a little warning. Thanks
  2. Whats the best way to monitor the temperature of the server room? We don't monitor of the temperature and I'm worried that the equipment in our server room might overheat one day and we wont have enough time to make the correct action to cool the room and save the equipment. Thanks
  3. set the monitoring up as suggested :-) whats he difference between monitoring the SMART and the event notifications?
  4. HpCISSs2 is a specific device controller. We dont have that one in our other servers. I was hoping there would be a catch all set of keywords that would notify me of RAID issues. Am i looking for somethings thats not possible with PC Monitor?
  5. Thanks for the post about what you do. I thought I would add to the community and say what's happened at our place. I've just had a failure on our server RAID and it has had to be rebuilt. I copied the keywords you suggested "bluescreen, crash, dump, controller, raid, disk" and i didnt get a warning. The events created in event viewer are list below. I was hoping of using PCMonitor to warn me when hard drives failures, any ideas how we can capture the failures?
