Jonathan N Posted July 4, 2022 Posted July 4, 2022 Hello, I can wake up my computer while I am on the same network but when I am on another network and try it it says, “Wake up command failed.” I have ports 7 and 9 forwarded and in windows firewall. How can I fix this? Thanks!
TorW Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Wake on LAN generally does not traverse gateways since it's a UDP broadcast. The only way to get around this by-design limitation is to the enable routing of broadcasts between subnets in your router. Anne 1
