Raspberry PI has been on for 13 hours with no problem, this morning I received an alert to say its offline from PC monitor, but the PI is still FTP'ing data to a website so is clearly working, can't seem to wake up the PC Monitor agent on the PI, does it have any other self checking ability.

Nothing in syslog.

 

ran the following:

 

sudo /etc/init.d/pcmonitor stop (this took around 30 seconds to return to a prompt)

 

sudo /etc/init.d/pcmonitor start (immediate return)

 

Everything back up and reporting again in PCmonitor.

 

As mentioned before the Raspberry Pi was quite functional whilst the PC monitor agent had stopped.
