PC Monitor app version: 3.9 build 77A2

iOS client - Character escaping in Terminal mode makes redirection and argument quoting impossible
Â
It looks like non-alphanumeric characters are being escaped before being executed on the destination server. Attempting to use characters like " or > results in broken commands and error message about "quot" or "gt" not being recognized commands. This prevents me from using IO redirection or replacing text with sed.Â
Â
Thankfully the web client does not have this problem. Still, this is a pretty serve limitation for mobile system administration.

Separate credentials for web management interface and clients
in Feature Requests
Posted
Currently when I have the PC Monitor client installed onto a new system, I need to give the installing party the credentials to my account. This of course gives them access to the web-based management interface, which I would like to restrict to authorized administrators only.

I would like to see some sort of installer or manufacturing credentials feature that would allow a user to configure the client locally without having the ability to use the management interface.
