Matt
I would like to use the "request support" feature that was added to PC Monitor on some end user systems, but the icon is set to Only show notifications. Can you change the default behavior for the icon to Show icon and notifications? If not, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this easier for an end user to find? Thanks for your assistance. Administrators Marius Posted April 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2013 You can set up a group policy and enable Support Requests by default.
Matt
That is not the problem. Support Requests is enabled through PC Monitor, but Windows (8 and 7 for sure) hide the icon, so the users can't see it without showing the hidden icons.
Moonlighting
Right click on the start menu, click properties. Click Task bar, notifcation area. Next click customize, scroll to PC Monitor and change to always show. I do this on every install so my clients can easily find the submit request for support
