Steven Kemlo Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 I run into an issue with one of my PC's no longer being able to run the PC Monitor Service. It seems to have started approx. 30 days ago. I've since uninstalled PC Monitor, rebooted and reinstalled with the same result. The service will start, but will stop itself 10 secs later. Anyone know what may be stopping the service? I've logged into the PC Monitor Manager and made sure it was connected. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It appears to affect only a limited number of Windows 8.1 installations. Could you please download and run the .NET Framework Repair Tool from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 Let us know if it fixes the issue.
