Kaspersky Anti-Virus exclusions

Having trouble finding where to do an exclusion in KAV for Windows.  KAV quarantined some files that are required for some X-Ray software on a client.  Need to make sure these files are not treated as a virus.

Hi,

You can configure the Scan exclusions and trusted applications from the Pulseway WebApp -> Antivirus -> Policies -> select required policy -> Antivirus Protection -> General -> Scan Exclusions and add the folder here. Also, you can configure this application as a 'Trusted Application' to exclude it from the scan.

In the Web-App, can I use wild-card characters to create a trusted application or do I have to specify the full path for each binary?

Not being lazy, it's just that the client uses accounting software (MYOB) that installs binaries all over the place and I want to be sure I'm excluding the whole application.

Regards,

Hi David,

If you have configured the path like this, then currently you exclude all applications/files/folders which names contain this combination of letters MYOB.

Read more about Path Masks for Kaspersky from here.
