Log every startup

I'm not sure if there's an easier way to keep check on this but here goes..

I can only wake my computer up from the internet every 2nd time.. It's hard to keep check wether it's the 31 time or 52 time..

Could anyone write some sort of scripts that displays what the number of the startup is? Or something so I know if it's the odd or equal.

I don't know why it's only working 50% of the times cause port and firewall is ok :/ Also windows and bios is too.

Do you happen to have other systems in the same LAN that are online when the Wake Up command works? We send a command to any online systems that have the same public IP address as the system you're trying to wake and are part of the same Pulseway group.

I do have but it's not mine. It's a laptop and on occasions it's not at home, just like mine it's on sometimes but suspended (?) [current state saved to Ram] rest of the time once at home. I'm sure I can Put a system that's always online but I rather not, but if it will work every time I would say it's worth it.

I just went to the bios to check and I noticed something called "quick start", sounds like it should be disabled maybe?

It's worth noting that 'fast startup' might interfere with the WOL packets (link). Another thing to look would be the driver manufacturer, make sure you're using the NIC drivers from the device manufacturer and not the built-in drivers from Microsoft.

@Paul

So I've port forwarded UDP 9, allowed the port and pulseway app in  Windows firewall, gone to LAN card settings and enabled Wake on magic packets.

Tried with both enabled and disabled "only allow magic packets to wake this computer" in the card settings.

Gone to bios and disabled "fast boot" and disabled "fast boot" in windows too.

and that's it I believe.. Still not working properly :/ But I'm checking on buying a raspberry pi 3, but Here only 1 and 2 is mentioned, can I use Pi 3?

oh and I also installed the latest Realtek driver for my LAN card. Ok maybe I should say NIC instead of lan card lol

Edit: Ok. I've decided to buy a Pi 3 but need confirmation that it will work with the current build of pulseway for rasbian. Thank you Paul for your help :)
