Windows Server 2012 Non R2

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We have noticed a possible issue on 2012 server Non R2.

Firstly Asset info is not available, but more importantly The cpu can spike upto 50% on the server when making the request and then closing the app on my phone.

Also a client was having performance issues with a database application and once pulseway was removed the performance issues have gone.

We have 4 monitored 2012 standard servers that all seem to show similar oddities with pulseway.

They are all HP Proliants

All our 2012 R2 servers are fine.

Anyone else seeing this?

Thank you for replying Paul,

I have tried your suggestion

C:\Windows\SysWOW64>lodctr /R

Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store

However I am still seeing the same issue as outlined in my first post.

when trying to access asset info and then backing out. PC monitor service uses approx. 15% CPU on this server until i restart the service.

Is there a local log for pulseway do you know?

Sam

Well you could enable Diagnostic Logging from Pulseway Manager -> Settings -> Diagnostics (that will create a trace.log file in the installation directory) however I don't know if that would provide any clues about the high CPU usage.
