Wrong CPU Usage

Computer restart didn't solve the problem. Yes I am using latest PC agent (2.4.1).

I have also restarted my Iphone.

Could it be a BIOS-Issue? I have installed the freeware tool CoreTemp 1.0 and it shows me the correct CPU usage for example. So it's not a general readout problem with my hardware.

Most likely it's not a BIOS issue. What Operating System do you have on that computer?

We are using performance counters for reading the total CPU usage, are the performance counters working for you?

That resolved the problem!!

Rebuild performance counter with these steps:

1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.

2. Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation,

type your password or click Continue

3. At the command prompt, type the following line, and then press ENTER: Lodctr /r

4. You will receive the following message:

"Info: Successfully rebuilt performance counter setting from system backup store"

5. Exit Command Prompt

Just for the record, I had the same issue with a Dell PowerEdge 2900 & Server 2003 OS. After running lodctr /r from the prompt, the CPU usage showed up right away on my phone.

Note that in any Server OS, lodctr /r does NOT return any kind of message when it succeeds. It will just take you back to the prompt.

Yes.  No change.

I now have issues with 2 additional systems which are both new, and both systems have the same problem with 99-100% CPU utilization.  I have tried all suggestions on this forum and nothing has resolved the issue.  Let me know what to do here because this is now unacceptable from a product that I subscribe to.

I am experiencing the same issue. Were you able to resolve it?
