JCrawford-BT got a reaction from Rikard Cidh in Asset info visible for offline systems
Instead of performing necromancy on this older thread, I will raise this question again. Why can we not see asset info for offline systems?
I know this is available through reports, but that's a ton of steps to go through when it's already readily available offline (since the Reports can search it) and it should just be visible. This has been a big gotcha (along with not seeing internal IPs without running a report or being able to copy/paste in remote sessions) as we moved from another tool to Pulseway. I've seen more than one thread about this, and each time the response is 'run a report'. Please stop brushing it off as 'RTFM' and provide the functionality we're asking for. Thank you.

JCrawford-BT reacted to Labsy in Why I don't like new PW design?
All the best to developers of PW at all extent, that's least what they deserve. I really love it very much, that PW idea is not dead, love to see development taking places and things going forward into new dimensions.
BUT I also love to criticize what bothers me. And this time it is that flat, anemic, Windows 10-like design, which got rid of colors, titles are all of the sudden not bigger and bolder, but smaller and barely seen, my eye cannot rely on blazing fast brain functionality to distinguish between different colors, because colors are gone, so I need to read what each icon means, especially under a bit stronger sunlight. And to my frustration I realize, that it takes me noticeably longer to get to where I want to go, to find what I am looking for. And that I need to think, read, evaluate navigation menus, that I need my glasses to get to services of one particular server, because I cannot distinguish company names anymore. And this really pulls my nerve - why, why did you seize really good base into this kindergarten made pancake?!
Why so many designers just blindfoldly follow Win 10 idiotic flat design and themes? Some idiot at MS had too much influence, now years later whole world will drawn in inefficiency and idiocracy of non-human-centric and not-user-friendly designs for decades? How nobody thinks about how brain works? How human eye distinguishes details better, how to take advantage of shortcuts and speed thinking, which is already built-in into our brain...are all designers really so stupid, that they do not see the obvious anymore? Sorry designers, for marking some of you as idiots and being stupid, but I really do not think your principle to blindly follow what's trendy cannot be named with sweet and friendly names.
So, to be constructive, my suggestion:
Please, be so kind and open theme design to public, or just add "Good old color design" option checkbox to settings page.
    Thank you.

JCrawford-BT reacted to AndrewT in UI improvements request
    Hi,
I have compiled a long list of UI improvements, I hope you will find some of my suggestions useful.
    1. CPU and Memory usage graphs need a time scale
    2. Show historical perfromance data (CPU/Memory) such as daily/weekly, should also be available when machine is offline
    3. Display local IP next to External IP
    4. Under Asset Info, show motherboard brand/model, graphics card model if available, Windows ReleaseID (eg 1709)
    5. Ability to run a Task on a single machine as you can run a Script (there is a workaround by creating a tag for a machine, then creating a scope for that tag, and executing the task for this scope, but this is cumbersome)
    6. Terminal/Powershell should keep output history, not clear it every time a command is sent. There is no need to print "sending command... waiting for reply.." into the output either, this can be represented graphically (ie spinner)
    7. Terminal/Powershell command history would be great
    8. Terminal/Powershell cannot see results of long running commands for example "sfc /scannow", there appears to be a timeout in place
    9. Infinite scroll lists prevent searching (eg in system logs, some legacy reports), keep too few rows in buffer. Possible to load more rows or add a search box?
    10. List views should show number of items, many places where this would be useful
    11. It's difficult to see the output of all systems of a completed task. Need to click into each one individually. Back button also doesn't function as expected. There needs to be a single page view for this.
    12. Tasks should have categories, same as Scripts
    13. Ability to move scripts between categories. Currently need to recreate it and delete the old one
    14. When running a report, it takes too many clicks to actually see the results, Details tab should not be the default view
    15. Patch Management Agent Status needs to show more information about the patch status, eg [All up to date, 1 update ignored by rule] or [2 updates pending]. Currently have to trawl through the OS patch report, that doesn't give a summary view that's easy to digest
    16. Systems page, add filter for online machines, eg as a checkbox as seen under patch management
    17. Systems page, reset button should also refresh the listing

JCrawford-BT reacted to rit-chris in Webroot Site Code Dropdown
Hi, please add site code drop down to the Antivirus agent install on the web portal. Preferably this drop down selection would just list the Site Names from the Webroot portal and that would essentially makes managing these site codes a moot point.
If this integration can't exist between Webroot it would be a compromise to at least let us manually load a drop down list for convenience. Example in the attached photo.
    Thanks!

JCrawford-BT reacted to Daniel Ramsay in Local IP Address
    Hi Support,

Firstly I have to say that I really love this program, it has really put a spotlight on efficiency and making day to day server support a breeze.
I also have to commend you on your ongoing commitment to the community in providing updates and improvements.

As for my feature request, is it possible to have a LOCAL UP ADDRESS added either before or after the EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS option.

At the moment I have to fire up the command prompt widget and hit an IPCONFIG to get the address.
A quick visual would help improve remote troubleshooting when getting users to ping servers and such.

Thanks again for the great work
    Daniel

JCrawford-BT reacted to EndzoneHero in Why is asset info and other information not available when the asset is offline?
I know that information is available from the reports - but have you seen how cumbersome it is to run a report and see the results?
    1. Click Reporting
    2. Click Templates
    3. Click Asset overview
    4. Mouseover the report you want and find the Run button to click
    5. Confirm Yes in the dialogue box that says 'are you sure you want to run the report?'
    6. Click OK in the 'It's done' dialogue box
    7. Click the eye icon on that report
    8. Click the eye on the report instance that has been created
    9. Click the view tab
    10. search for your asset name in the report

And all that to see data an engineer just wants to be able to see when they are navigating Groups/Systems wanting to see what brand the machine they are looking for is or how much RAM it has?
A task they might do 10 times a day, or double/triple that?

It's not pulled live, it is available from reports, just not the normal Groups/Systems way of browsing machines
    100% agree Andrew T
Not only should this information be available when the machines are offline, we should also be able to build a view in the RMM like we can the PSA - so that we can see and make our own view of the assets with columns for RAM, brand, user etc
At the moment if I am in the RMM looking for the machine that John Doe uses, or all those with less than 8GB RAM, there appears no way to do it without the 10 step process to run a report as described above.
If I'm wrong please please let me know!
    Cheers
    EndzoneHero
