Chris got a reaction from jhjacobs in Pulseway PSA not targetted for the EU market.?
Hi Jacobs,
Thanks for your feedback.
Are there any people in Europe (or more precicely, in the Netherlands) that use the full PSA solution to manage their business??
Unfortunately, this is internal information and we can not disclose it.
After a rather disapointing start with Pulseway RMM, due to some recent licensing changes, (i am at the moment starting up as an MSP/MSSP,but the minimum for Pulseway is 25 licenses, meaning i throw away half the licenses atm) i am looking at PSA as an option, but there’s no Dutch translations, (or maybe i can change the language used in the invoices myself??) My reseller seems to think i could only use PSA at the moment for ticketing, project management and perhaps time tracking..
Unfortunately, the Pulseweay PSA currently is only in one language - English, however, we will consider the possibility to add the support for multiple languages into the future. If you will send us the proposed templates in Duch, then we will recreate them and upload on your Pulseway PSA instance (this might take 1...2 month).

Hi Andy,
Yes, currently we do not have the mobile app for the Pulseway PSA, however we are planning to add this option into the future release. But in the mean time you can use the web interface on your mobile device. It is mobile friendly.

Chris got a reaction from BartB in Stop Monitoring certain services.
Hi,
Try to run this script.
$removeService = "BITS" #the name for the service which will be removed from the list of monitored services
$name = Get-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services"
[array]$newNameList = $null
$removed = $false
if($name.Count -gt 0){
for ($i=0; $i -lt $name.Count ; $i++){
if($name."Service$i" -eq $removeService){
$removed = $true
}
else{
$newNameList += $name."Service$i"
}
}
}
Remove-Item -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services" -Recurse
New-Item -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services"
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services" -Name "Count" -Value $newNameList.length;
$count = 0
foreach ($service in $newNameList) {
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Services" -Name ("Service" + $count++) -Value "$service"
}
if($removed){ write-host "The service $removeService was removed from the list of monitored services successfully"}
else {write-host "Action failed or service is not monitored on this system"}
#echo $newNameList

Chris got a reaction from Cristian Scarafiotti in Import Pulseway configuration from command line
In order to import a Pulseway configuration file you need to start PCMonitorManager (Pulseway Manager) from Pulseway's installation directory with the following parameters:
PCMonitorManager.exe /config=C:\Configuration\NoPassword.pcmcfg If the exported configuration file contains the account details then you need to provided the configuration password as well:
PCMonitorManager.exe /config=C:\Configuration\WithPassword.pcmcfg /configpassword=s3cr3tpassw0rd Note: The PCMonitorManager will not provide any console output or custom exit codes based to indicate the success of the operation.

Chris got a reaction from BartB in Automate Enable User Support Request
Yes it is possible. Please run this PowerShell script on all your systems via Automation:
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\Software\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\" -Name EnableUserSupportRequest -Value "1" You can read more about automation from here: https://www.pulseway.com/blog/improve-your-productivity-and-efficiency-with-pulseway-automation

Chris got a reaction from BartB in Automate Enable User Support Request
If you used the deployment and discovery module, then you could enable these two options on the Probe and then import the settings from the Probe during the deployment. You can read more about it from here https://www.pulseway.com/blog/network-discovery-and-automatic-deployment-guide.
Yes, you can enable the Remote Desktop option in the same way:
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\Software\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor" -Name EnableRemoteDesktop -Value "1" Once it is done, then you can remote into the system and configure more options for RD connection: ask for user confirmation before allowing any RD connection.

Chris got a reaction from Paul in Agent Not Starting automagically - Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
Hi,
At first please have a look into the Windows event log, to find out why the Pulseway service fails to start (look for the entry from Service ControlManager), if the error is that service did not respond to start or control request in timely manner, then the first thing that you can try is to configure the Pulseway service start as Automatic(Delayed Start) and/or recovery options. But If that doesn't help, then you can try to increase the startup timeout by running built in script 'Increase Windows Service Timeout at Startup' (You can adjust the timeout interval. In this script it is set to 60000ms [60 seconds]). Our customers get the best results if the timeout interval is set to 90000 (90 seconds).

Chris got a reaction from Paul in creating tickets from RMM notifications
Hi Donna,
At first you need to assign the hardware assets to the correct client, and then, so if the new ticket is created from this system, then it will be automatically assigned to the client who owns this system. In order to do this you need to go to Service Desk -> Asset Management -> Hardware Assets -> click on the system and select the correct Client.
Also, you can configure the email domain for customer, therefore all new tickets that will be created from this email domain, will be assigned to this customer. You can do this from the CRM -> Accounts -> select the correct account -> Email Domain -> Add.

Hi,
Welcome to the Pulseway community! Yes, we plan on adding support for Google Authenticator on top of our Two Step Authentication via Email. There are no plans at this moment for SAML support however this is a great idea and we've added it on our list.
